Portrait of handsome siblings and their father playing musical instruments at home

Musical Families are families in which all individual members learn music…together, but as individuals rather than as a group. The idea is that music is learned together in a family setting, a nurturing and an encouraging environment. The focus is on teaching in this setting rather than in a studio outside of the family context because this gives insight into the dynamics of the family and assists in the making of choices related to selecting teaching approaches best suited to individual learners.
